การแข่งขันรถจักรยานยนต์ซูเปอร์ไบค์ชิงแชมป์ประเทศไทยรายการ R2M Thailand SuperBikes ถือกำเนิดขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2550 ณ สนามแข่งรถไทยแลนด์ เซอร์กิต, นครชัยศรี โดย สโมสรโรดเรซซิ่ง (Road Racing Motorsport Club หรือ #R2M สมาชิกวิสามัญของสมาคมกีฬาแข่งรถจักรยานยนต์แห่งประเทศไทย (MSAT) โดยได้รับสิทธิ์จากสมาคมฯให้จัดแข่งขันรถจักรยานยนต์ประเภทซูเปอร์ไบค์เพื่อบรรจุอยู่ในปฏิทินการแข่งขันชิงแชมป์ประเทศไทยของสมาคมกีฬาแข่งรถจักรยานยนต์แห่งประเทศไทย (MSAT) และในระดับนานาชาติ (FIM World Sereis & FIM Asia Championship )

Thailand Circuit Motorsport Complex, Nakhornchaisri< Nakhon Prathom

สนามแข่งรถไทยแลนด์ เซอร์กิต, นครชัยศรี จังหวัดนครปฐม ซึ่งเป็นถิ่นกำเนิดนักกีฬามอเตอร์สปอร์ตไทยในตำนานตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2532 เพียง 45 นาที จากกรุงเทพฯ ใกล้โครงการมอเตอร์เวย์ บางใหญ่-กาญจนบุรี (กำลังก่อนสร้าง) และใกล้สนามบินนครปฐม (กำลังอยู่ระหว่างโครงศึกษาความเหมาะสมในการจัดตั้ง) สนามแข่งรถไทยแลนด์ เซอร์กิต, นครชัยศรี นับเป็นฐานการสร้างนักกีฬาแข่งรถจักรยานยนต์อาชีพชั้นนำมาตลอด 35 ปี ที่ได้ก้าวสู่การแข่งขันในระดับชิงแชมป์เอเซีย และชิงแชมป์โลก และสร้างประชากรนักกีฬาแข่งรถจักรยานยนต์ทั้งเยาวชน, นักกีฬาสมัครเล่น นักกีฬาอาชีพ รวมถึงโครงการพัฒนานักกีฬาแข่งรถจักรยานยนต์หลายดครงการ จึงเป็นที่มาของนิยามว่า

“ชีวิตนักแข่งเริ่มต้นที่นี่..”

สนามแข่งรถไทยแลนด์ เซอร์กิต, นครชัยศรี ยังเป็นจุดกำเนิดของการแข่งขันรถจักรยานยนต์ชิงแชมป์เอเซีย FIM Asia Road Racing และรถจักรยานยนต์โมโตครอสชิงแชมป์โลก FIM World Motocross Grand Prix of Thailand - ThaiMXGP และอีกหลายรายการในระดับประเทศไทยในตำนานเช่น Elf Midday Racing ถ่ายทอดสดทางสถานีโทรทัศน์กองทัพบกช่อง 7 ซึ่งเป็นรายการแข่งรถจักรยานยนต์รายการเดียวในโลกที่จัดแข่งขันในวันพุธเที่ยง เป็นต้น

Our certified trainers will design a personalized program that fitsAsian nations are gearing up for the FIM Asia Women’s Cup of Circuit Racing 2025 - Thailand Round, happening at the Thailand Circuit Motorsport Complex in Nakhonchaisri from 12th to 14th September 2025!

This FIM Asia-sanctioned event, hosted by R2M Sport Asia and the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of Thailand (FMSCT), welcomes women participants from across Asian countries to Nakhonchaisri. The goal is to minimise the cost of racing while maximizing the spirit of sport and Olympism. This is a fun yet professional motorcycle sport challenge cup, featuring a single standard of race bikes provided by GPX Demon GR200R with IRC IZ R-003 tires. The race will not only generate excitement among Asian motorcycle stakeholders but will also promote good friendship within the Asian motorcycle community.

The championship points from the 2025 FIM Asia Women’s Cup of Circuit Racing - Thailand Round will count toward the 2025 FIM Asia Cup of Circuit Racing - Chinese Taipei Round in October. This will help determine the champion of the FIM Asia Cup of Circuit Racing 2025, who will be presented at the FIM Asia Gala Awards Night 2025.

The FIM Asia Cup of Circuit Racing was established in 2005 with the aim, proposed by Mr. Akira Goto, the Motorcycle Federation of Japan (MFJ), to elevate the level of Asian riders and foster better communication and relationships among FIM Asia Federations.

In support of this initiative, Thailand has been promoting the R2M PowerGirls Project since 2019, led by Sopittnari Devhastin, a former member of the FIM Women in Motorcycling Commission. This project includes the R2M Academy Programme, selecting Thai women riders to join the FIM Asia Cup of Circuit Racing alongside their male counterparts.

As of 2024, FIM Asia has approved Thailand as the host for the FIM Asia Women’s Cup of Circuit Racing, which is exclusive to female participants. More good news: this year, we will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the FIM Asia Cup of Circuit Racing in Thailand.
